Can I get a Emergency Coroner Vehicle with flashing lights in GTA5 LSPDFR that work for npc callouts?<\/h3>\n

This has always kinda annoyed me. A coroner vehicle turns up at an accident when called for in LSPDFR and they arrive in a white unmarked speedo van with no emergency lights. Some modders<\/a>\u00a0 have managed to put on ELS lights but they only work for human drivers not npcs. So they arrive on scene with their codes turned off. This is recognised as an emergency vehicle and when they stop ai traffic stops behind it.<\/p>\n

I managed to find a van<\/a> but it looked a bit tired and only had yellow tow truck lights but tbf it is 7 years old and just needed some TLC and thanks to the modder who found it and gave it another chance it was worth the effort. So I changed the template to have red and blue lights. This had no template available (makes it quite a challenge guessing) so it took rather a long time to adjust the texture constantly logging into the game and examining the vehicle. But after a few hours I created this.<\/p>\n

The other issue is Coroners use a van slot in the game so other speedos when spawned will be a coroners speedo van and I didnt want to lose that vehicle in the game. This creates a new vehicle called corspeedo.<\/p>\n

I had to change ultimate backup files to recognise this as the coroner van. The other issue was the van has to kinda do everything on scene in the game. It is just a body collector in the normal LSPDFR. But there are highly qualified (Quincy ME types) Medical Examiners who attend scenes or investigate after the fact and of course forensics. Most coroner vans are ambulances really with a stretcher in the back rather than seating whilst there is space for a stretcher and bodybag in the middle I like the fact this appears to be also a vehicle to carry staff or have meetings in at say a homicide. So The vans livery reflects this double or triple duty. Also when driven it is seen as an emergency police vehicle and npc cars get out of the way should you want to role play as a coroner or Medical Examiner.<\/p>\n

Arriving on scene in this now give the Coroner some presence and value as professionals rather than glorified stretcher bearers!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
